JOE NATHAN PAGE JR. (affectionally know as Junior pronounced Gin-Ya) was born on September 22, 1958, in Baltimore City to Joe Nathan Page, Sr. and Ida Ann Robinson Page. His spirit departed his earthy body on April 18, 2024 after battling cancer. He was proceeded in death by his mother Ida Page, brother Rodney Page and nephew Corey Ward.
He received his education in Baltimore City Public School System. One who always went out of his way to be of service to others, it was only fitting that Junior would join the U.S. Army. In 1975 Junior entered into basic training in Fort Hill, Texas. Then onto Fort Sam Houston for the AIT medical training to become a medic. While in the Army he obtained his GED from The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, INC. He did a Tour of duty in South Korea and received an Honorable discharge on August 1, 1981.
After the military, Junior continued to carry out his desire to serve and protect through his work. For years he worked for AAI Corporation, an aerospace and defense development and manufacturing firm. He later started his own lawn and hauling business. If you needed anything done, he was the man to do it. He had a smile and laugh that was contagious and would brighten up your day. Junior was loving, kind, caring and full of life. He traveled extensively and live in multiple states and countries including California, China and Japan. Junior's hobbies and special interests were electronics, music, aviation and remote control cars. One of his favorite things while overseas was always being able to send his mother the most treasured gifts he had that he knew she would love and appreciate. As his health issues progressed his sister/niece Shauna became his caregiver and stood by his side until he transitioned to be with Lord.
Junior leaves to cherish his memory: his father Joe Nathan Page, Sr.; brothers Michael Page (Tammy) and Craig Page; sisters, Belinda Watkins, Carolyn Page, Constance Page; uncle Carlwell Page, Sr. (Nina); 3 aunts; Essie Thompson, Shirley Patterson (Jimmy), Louise Page; 9 nieces and nephews. Qua'Shauna, Yolanda, Donte, Whitney, Lamar (Janea), Travis, Andrew, Jousha and Michael Jr.; 12 great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
